Position Description: The Installation Coordinator of Retail Design is responsible for managing the implementation of the environmental scope. Installation teams will consist of preferred subcontractors that have been internally vetted and are familiar with various branded applications. The Installation Coordinator will report to the Director of Environments Operations and meet weekly regarding travel schedule, understanding scope of work and cover a brief look-ahead.

General knowledge of signage, graphics, materials, fabrication process – digital systems being a plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook
Working cross- functionally with the Director of Environments Operations, NewGround Construction team, Client and subcontractors to ensure the implementation runs smoothly from start to finish.
Proactively develop and maintain relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction with our products and services.
Review installation document with PGD and PM teams prior to on-site implementation for accuracy of scope, contact information, hours of operation, equipment rentals, required dates and any other key details that pertain to the installation.
Installation Coordinator to manage any on-site issues that arise and make logical decisions to arrive at the best resolution.
Manage subcontractors in a professional manner making sure there is a clear outline of scope and an understanding of how each element will be addressed. Responsible for any questions the subcontractors may have throughout the installation.
Ability to apply expert level product and installation knowledge
Understanding of architectural drawings: floorplans and elevations
Ability to organize and prioritize work
Management and organization of expenses, travel plans and schedule
Travel required (75% - 95%)
Experience and Education Prerequisites:
3+ years of Installation experience in a commercial/ retail environment.
Knowledge of retail design and/ or environmental graphics is required, digital systems installation knowledge is a plus.
